Given that this was made by a nation-state attacker I'd expect something more sophisticated than pairipcore VM.. So, still waiting for full pairipcore (the newer one) writeup.

> Microsoft Office and games. No, not LibreOffice and Tux Racer. Not everyone will be as displeased with LibreOffice since not everyone uses MS Office professionally.. I'd argue further: for MOST people this is acceptable! > Wine

Normal people will probably not read these long essays, but they might complain about their M$ OS getting worse.. and that is a great opportunity to present linux as the solution (because it is), you can then explain how programs they use w

"Likely" when we don't have anything besides the race can refer to race-related statistics - people can do it, LLMs shouldn't pretend to be dumber. Infering the answer based on statistics is what I'd do if I had to

Let's connect the dots then.. there's more crime in lower income areas, right? And you indirectly admit that some races are more likely to live there than others [whether it's justified is out of scope here]

Ok, so let's only consider cases where the police officers doing the arrest are also black.. any stats for this?

> In the end, AI companies in the US and other democracies must have better models than those in China if we want to prevail. How about everyone has access to the best model because it's Open Source and openly developed?

Obviously. What else could Chinese engineers do? The most they can do is to convince the company/party to make the model open source and it seems they've done that.

I'm not from CCP, but since I don't live in China, Chinese "alignment" is not really a concern for me. Is chinese-specific censorship a concern for you?

Actually I wish these models had Chinese alignment without the western one..

I hope Google will make Android more desktop friendly so it becomes the real alternative to the current status quo.

Since the previous comment is dead, let me repeat: Reddit is the entity that bans subreddits, like r/The_Donald and choses to keep other subreddits alive, indirectly (and directly) choses their moderators.

I won't go this route. If you're planning to label views shared by 30% of voters as "hate speech" then I alredy disagree. Like I said, this is a political position.

I see how this is used in practice. I don't know about France, but in Poland both sides use that label when convenient, and of course they refer to completely different things, yet always done by their political opponents.

If you have the half of the country strongly disagreeing with you, then.. it is. There's no other criteria... Of course I can only guess we also disagree on what "misinformation", "propaganda" and even "racism&

This is already a political position - you might consider something is harmful to a particular group, but I might view this as the opposite. I think it's very easy to see a practical example of this..

Are you breathing? These people did that too. Doesn't it concern you? I prefer arguing about the actual policies, I refuse to be concerned "by association".

The game is good but it's missing a level where you need to uncheck 500 checkboxes which are hidden behind the "legitimate interest" dropdown.. To me, there's one thing worse than dark patterns - no real choice at all, a

Unpopular opinion: truly "passive" income should be impossible, because this means someone is working hard but not receiving their compensation. EDIT: of course unless it's the robots that do all the work, but then it's
