I hope they opensource "wiz", not really because I'd want to use it, but simply for fun :)

The page doesn't load, so I'll just add that we need AI that can clean up after AI.. but this might be difficult, because AI accepting AI output as input seems to be more likely to get "infected" and return the same AI c

I care about them hence I didn't make them. "Having kids" is the most selfish thing in my view.

I also consider the wellbeing of others (hence I don't harm them but more importantly - I didn't bring them to life), but I see rational voting as voting for myself - since others can also vote for themselves.

If I knew I'd die in <10 years then I'd vote for the "short term" solution and believe or not - this would NOT be irrational on my end. People might have different interests and they vote for themselves.

Populism is when people get what they vote for, as opposed to "democracy" where parties don't actually implement what they promise. "Democracy" is when the government thinks people are idiots and shouldn't be l

If I could just do nothing because machines would do all the work then it's fine for me. But of course it won't work this way, only the owners of the capital will be on the receiving side, others will not be able to acquire that c

Yes and thanks to this we're working more and more because most of the profit goes to the top as the inequality is rising. At some point it will not be possible to put up with this.

Ok (let's pretend I didn't see the word "blockchain" there), but none of this should interfere with browser extensions that need to modify the application code.

My laptop folds and has a touchscreen too.. there are ones which support advanced pens - none of this requires the OS to be as locked as iOS.

Definition of the most useless machine - doesn't fit in your pocket, has good specs but refuses to run anything not signed by Apple.. worst of both worlds.

For it to succeed, they must also help put pressure on governments (countries like Brazil or Italy) and banks to stop depending on "Play Integrity" because only Google has the keys (and blocks leaked ones) so we can't count o

If those apps use "Play Integrity" (bad choice) then the probability is close to zero because it's Google that controls it. Other OEMs that currently pass it do it only because the device was certified by Google. But being ce

By not publishing Pixel device trees Google shot themselves in the foot removing the only reason for me buying their devices, while at the same time gaining nothing. Great move :)

Completely false dichotomy - you could release a separate android channel that would require flashing through fastboot but still be signed, don't require unlocked bootloader and fully pass "Play Integrity".

If I buy a Google Pixel device then I AM a consumer. You don't have to choose, you could release a separate device for those who know what they're doing, just like Mozilla releases a separate edition of Firefox that doesn't r

Yes, this verification will be implemented in the OS but not in the TEE, so rooting does give you the ability to affect it. But Google is working hard to make sure important apps won't work anymore due to their "Play Integrity&quo

Thanks Microsoft! Without your help I'd inadvertently skip some critical setup screens and potentially exit OOBE with a device that is not fully configured for use and that would be a huge disaster. You literally saved my device!
