Do you remember the list of other skills? I think it's kind of like teaching someone how to ride a bike. No amount of theory and coaching will help until the connections form in their brain. Smarter everyday has an interesting video[1]

In queuing theory, it's well known that choosing the request with lowest service time first will result in lowest waiting time on average across the requests. This is usually not done because it can starve the larger jobs. https:/

Are they? I tried understanding how that worked a few years ago and it led me to something called "stream fusion" which seems like a magical set of code rewriting rules that wasn't even on by default in haskell[1]. For exampl

I do use git too. But it's nice to be able to jump between multiple computers without needing to push an incomplete commit to remote (when I get tired from sitting in front of desktop I switch to laptop to code in bed). Also dropbox&#x

I was going to say that this seems like the same as deeplearn.js[0], but it turns out this is built on top of it. So I guess the real feature is cross-platform compatibility between node and browser? [0] https://github.com/P

How do humans generate these labels? Not from this field and I am curious about the UI aspect of it. It's not like you can give each of your min-wage labelers a VR headset/controller to draw bounding boxes with.
