That's cool, but some people in this thread are arguing that you shouldn't have to pay for music at all, beyond a small Kickstarter investment. I disagree with that. And apparently, so do the majority of pirates.

Schindler saved a bunch of Jews. More than zero, which is what would have happened if all he said was "hang in there." It's not like your choice is between learning how to cope and trying to assassinate Hitler. There are many options in the

OP said that there would be less of it, not that it would be nonexistent. Linux is probably an exception, and not the rule, and it is such an exception that large companies are willing to subsidize it. I've been looking for some good sound

Can you eat a computer? Will it treat your hernia? No. You need a job that gives you money for those things, and not everyone can hack it as a programmer.

Women are penalized more than men are for negotiating. http://money.cnn.com/2005/10/03/commentary/everyday/sahadi/i... If you are a woman and you ask for a raise, you have to be much, much more careful about how you do it than a man does.

Not everyone who is suicidal does so because they are mentally ill. People kill themselves for political causes, too. It's kind of a thing for monks to set themselves on fire as a means of political protest. Source: http://www.cnn.com/2012

I think some degree of affirmative action is good. Racism still exists, and explicit quotas to ensure that a few black applicants can get a spot at a college or a firm seems like a reasonable strategy to counteract kneejerk discrimination.
