You can browse all the companies that the FTC has consent decrees with. You don’t have to be large. The existence of a consent decree says nothing about their market position.

I think you missed OPs point. As I understand it, Waymo can’t drive on unmapped roads, and therefore there are no comparable videos of Waymo actually doing that. You chose a Waymo video from their marketing channel, and a newspaper hit piec

I can't agree that funding is "largely the reason" why NASA takes so long to do anything. I doubt funding is a top 3 reason. NASA just isn't about high-risk / high-reward "moonshots" anymore. The overarc

You thought right. Parent comment is wrong. Many random “bet she won’t serve half of that” comments were corrected in the original discussion.

I don’t have this issue at all. AutoPilot (not FSD Beta) is not designed for back roads or complex city driving. It’s best on highways and state roads with limited intersections. I do not use it in the city. The issue I have with AutoPilot

I just want to second this. I use a long alphanumeric password to unlock my iPhone plus FaceID. I enter the password at most a few times a week after reboots and if someone plays with the phone and gets FaceID to fail too many times. It’s n

It’s a fun narrative but it’s bullshit right? The old radar and the new radar they are putting in are not the same part. So “supply chain” is the wrong answer. The new radar has been under development at Tesla. The old radar didn’t have the

I can answer that because I just drove home in the rain at night in my Tesla Model 3. It was a light rain that has been falling for hours. The roads are sleek but very few deep puddles. No problem with traction, but the sheen of the water c

I would never frame this as Twitter being forced to do anything. I don’t think this is a 1A issue. But I think several things are surprising here. First, how deeply rooted democratic operatives within Twitter took totally unprecedented acti

The point isn’t that Twitter felt compelled. Isn’t the point that Twitter happily complied, and even made up reasons to censor the stuff they thought was the most damaging “in order to prevent another 2016”.
