Most languages are terrible in nitially. More important I think is the ability to evolve. And JS is evolving, faster in some areas than others but it is evolving. Compared to the first time I used JS, now its very convenient language with

I don't see how you can put ads, trackers and node tooling in the same basket. Also the node tooling is helping to contain the frontend bloat.

isn't it simpler to just use docker/podmah/systemd portable services ? These cover the case for daemons quite extensively.

I have used it in a large codebase, and it was terrible. Everybody must write python code to build their C++ files in a project. What could go wrong?
