Ah, I was searching borgstore for no-delete, but it gets exploded into itemized permissions in borg. Documentation seems to be non-existent, as the only mention seems to be the changelog where it suggests this only exists for testing. But I

Isn't this "no-delete permission" just a made-up mode for testing the borg storage layer while simulating a lack of permissions for deleting and overwriting? In actual deployment, whatever backing store is used must have the

Why repeat this nonsense when it’s so trivial to just check. The reason Groq is fast is because they employ absolutely ludicrous amounts of SRAM. (Which is 10 times faster than the fastest VRAM.)

The statement makes me wonder if the reporter has missed some nuance here. You can go on eBay right now and find hundreds of PCs with 5.25" floppy drives. They would have been cheaper 6 years ago, but they've always been there.

Safari is limited in the same way as Chrome manifest v3, allowing basically only a URL blacklist. They're crippled compared to uBlock Origin's various other blocking capabilities.

Also, Amazon cedes control of their supply chain to any rando who will ship them product. So it’s just as likely that you receive a power strip without surge protection, even if it claims to have it.

If anything, I would expect the number of insects, small mammals, etc. killed by harvesting animal feed to be higher than that of harvesting crops grown for people, on a caloric basis.

It takes 20 to 40 plant calories to raise one calorie of beef. So slaughtering a cow kills 20 to 40 times the number of lives as eating plants directly.

I would play the whole Anno series, but they’re Ubisoft games and incorporate a rootkit. There are too many good games that have a modicum of respect for their customers for me to pay money to be rootkited.
