I assumed there is some sort of rivalry between Stanford and Cornell - I'm not in US so I wouldn't know. But you would not see this kind of statement in a paper nowadays, that's for sure.

Thank you very much for the answer! So the pens that Whynote sells are just branded Staedtler 305, is that right? Not having to ship the pens from abroad and being able to buy them locally would sell the product for me.

I don't understand how any encryption like this helps, unless it's end-to-end. When somebody breaks in, they just get the encryption keys as well, no? Can anyone point out what am I missing here? Thank you.

Where I live, there is a disposal fee for tires as well. It's about 2$ per tire, though ;) With tires, however, it's not like you buy a new one because you got bored with your old tire. You change them to maintain road safety. Rec

Can you elaborate how free tier is almost useless? I'm using ProtonMail as my secondary e-mail and I'm on free tier, and it is pretty useful. Much more useful than FastMail which pretty much forced me to switch to paid plan right
