Really impressed by the fast page loads and readability. This matters more than anything and they nailed it. I wish other publications thought like this.

I disagree. It is wholly insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Twitter can't be fixed by putting so much thought into an icon - the core engagement of it is slightly broken. Chris Sacca had a great article on what is wrong with

Hopefully someone from the government is reading this, and realizes it's time to simplify this bureaucratic process.

This seems very cool - are there case studies of adopting this type of workflow for complex projects?

Wow, seeing the s&p outperformed is no small feat. Another notable thing is that your s&p performance could be much higher if you invested in a crash (2008 or 2002).

Wow, excited to see what is meant by this: Qasar will help scale our organization and operations as we tackle bigger and more ambitious projects My interactions with him at YC left me impressed.

The idea of using probabilistic data structures instead of counting every point of data (for things like customer analytics) is pretty significant -- getting caught in the weeds of managing every data point is error-prone and inefficient.

High pay is definitely a positive outcome. But it is one of several things that matter, not the only one. The fallacy I think lots of people fall for is to over-weigh its role in contentment - but it definitely does have a role.

There are 2 sides to this. 1. Quit: I spent a summer in investment banking, at a prestigious bank after 2 years of hustling at a state school (way easier to get this type of job at an ivy league). I left after a summer despite loving the pe

Thanks for letting us know of this. This is a constraint set by working with a brokerage partner. I think it's a good constraint though because trading with small amounts makes transaction fees to big relative to your capital base ($3.
