I can't wait for the day we go beyond simply "privacy vs. no privacy" arguments. Privacy isn't a boolean thing. It's so much more nuanced than that.

For all the heat yahoo gets, they are still doing reasonably well. There aren't that many billion dollar dot coms that survived the crash and moreover provided some real value.

I just moved into a 15th floor small cubicle office overlooking Madison sq garden for $300/mo. I couldn't find such deals in my non-NYC college town.

As I found out on my recent trip, Blackberry is wildly popular in India. iPhone, not as much. On my trip before, there was no Blackberry in the market. Zero.

A failed purchase of a social network only proves my point, if anything. When google really believes in a company, they go to great extremes to grab it. See YouTube.

I do not understand why successful technology companies, seeing another different but also successful technology, realize "we can do that too" and immediately assume "and therefore we should". Is it really that hard to understand? Most co

Wow, such a good question. First things first, specific to design, almost no one cares about your degree in design. Almost everyone cares about your portfolio. Very, very few clients that I've done design work for even asked for a resume. A

The counterpoint to that is if they don't grant the exclusivity, the cos won't be willing to invest money and resources to do the testing because the returns wouldn't be as strong. In these cases though, the counter-argument to that is the

Yeah, but on many platforms, you have a negotiated contract that is not one-sided. With facebook, you basically have a generic agreement that hundreds of millions of people click YES to that says they can shut down your account for pretty m
