Agree. Proof of ID in the UK often means copies of utility bills. You can fill out your own with an online template pretty easily. Inside the UK you don't even need to bother with the notarization requirement. It is indeed backwards. Y

This is the answer. Google play services and related privileged components are the non-open source blob hoarding data, along with whatever backend services you use from Google. These components are part of the stock android image that comes

I would disagree. One of the problems of operating a VPN is that it is somewhat like operating a tor exit node: bad traffic is absolutely going to exit your infra. This means if you're renting VPSes or whatever you need a tolerant host

I am not the original poster, but there are a few reasons to pick Wireguard. Performance is better due to the in-kernel drivers, UDP design and crypto choices. If you're simply looking for the fastest option wireguard is it. Openvpn&#x

I agree and apparently so does the CA/B forum: SC085: Require DNSSEC for CAA and DCV Lookups is currently in intellectual property review. DCV is CA/B speak for domain-control validation; CAA = these are my approved CAs. This seem

The argument counter dnssec is that if you are trying to find some random A record for a server, to know if it is the right one, TLS does that fine provided you reasonably trust domain control validation works i.e. CAs see authentic DNS. An

I agree with this to some extent. I am from the UK, which is pretty monolingual and with the same advantage as the US: we're native English speakers. So I think we do have a slight advantage, or put another way the incentive to learn a

This is what is done for code and document signing, because you want the signed object to continue to be valid even after the certificate expires. However it has a tradeoff: you cannot remove any certificate from a CRL if revoked, ever. Und
