Read that entire article. Well worth it. Did it say what year this was in? I think you could infer from the "Think Different" campaign and other tidbits mentioned, but I wasn't really sure.

Fun way to generate a bunch at once: for(var i = 0; i< 100; i++) jQuery(".nytg").find("a").click()

I am still deeply embedded in undergrad for a year or so, so it's more of "that would be nice someday to do" then a "I hate programming all day long in python" type situation. I'll probably try making a real/useful project with clojure befo

Neat. I wish I could find a job that used clojure. To overuse a cliche, I know enough to be dangerous but not enough to be deadly. There is a ton of awesome work being done in the language and it would be fun to really learn it via hard pro

X% of college graduates shouldn't have gone to college, where X is some non negative number. Depending on your views, that could be as high as 50% and as low as 1%.

It's come out that for a few thousand, you can buy black hat's who will do crappy link building for your competitors. So, possible scenario: Safe Shepard stepped on somebody's toes and they retaliated by hiring (or creating) a ton of crappy

I personally don't think Instagram is worth a billion dollars. But the general consensus is that when Zuck saw those numbers and thought of the upcoming IPO, he saw buying Instagram a very good defensive move that would solidify his company

It's a shame that all of that talent is working on things the author doesn't think are worthwhile. I mean, everyone should work on what everyone can agree on is worth their time, right? Yet, I don't think everybody can really agree on what

Comments on the data visualization/interface: 1. Differentiate netflix/itunes by color or marker. 2. Find a better way to show density. Messing with the opacity would help, as would contrasting colors. Nothing fancy like 3D, just a way to c
