Yubikeys are awesome for ssh... The problems come from yubico’s multiple apps and different places you have to configure them. On top of that, the gpg agent commands are so verbose and very annoying, especially if you just want to duplicate

I went for a run yesterday and the first half of a 5 miler was completely offset by a few hundred meters. So interesting to find out the cause!

Funny that you say they can’t be unified, just yesterday I wrote an article about how you can write backend JS within your front end project, without even thinking about the stuff going on behind the scenes. I think things might get closer

I’ve got a 5 year old react app that still gets worked on just fine. It doesn’t need every new state management library. The problem with JS isn’t the major frameworks. It’s people that complain about how many packages exist. This is a cons

This is going to be downvoted.... but I have never whiteboarded in my 7 years of professional development. It’s just not how all of us brainstorm. Rather go try the code that I have ideas for, instead of talking back and forth. Most things

The most frustrating thing about this app.... is that it ignores other algorithms such as sha-256 or 512. But get this! On iOS it correctly shows the right OTP code for these algorithms. On android it acts like it’s a sha-1 and has the wron

Can’t wait to follow this. I’ve been going through the official book these past couple weeks. As someone who’s never used systems languages (mainly a js / node person) I was able to write a redis-like database quickly on top of TCP. I’

Excited to see an open source hardware key solution on the market to compete with yubico. I’ve been working on my own saas app to handle authentication for any app using the web authentication framework. hoping we start seeing more options

I would rather make a component that takes data as props. Now make a component on top that runs a network request and injects the network response into it. Now you have a reusable component independent of the api. Your network function can
