Correct, the threat is the crime. And German Police was investigating channels that were consistently committing this exact crime on Telegram. Telegram was told these crimes were happening in specific channels and Telegram did nothing. They

The Judenstern as referenced here is specifically the yellow star jews were forced to wear during and just before WW2. That is how they're entirely styled. The rhetoric that is used by people doing this is very much comparing vaccine m

You can add and removes devs from a vdev in ZFS now, with this feature, giving you the ability to resize a vdev. But only upwards. Downwards isn't possible yet.

In this case it applies to a real nazi who's denying the Holocaust and spreading some barely-not-eugenics rhetoric... Not just "some truckers".

You can now with this feature. If you're using RAID1 vdevs, you could always remove and add mirrors. Now you can at least add a device to a RAIDZn vdev.

You can definitely expand and shrink a zpool based on mirrors. You can remove top-level vdevs, provided the pool is fine, and expand existing pools by adding new mirrors.

The cheapest way to reprogram a blown efuse is to buy a new efuse. In some cases, the efuse is a separated chip but it can be integrated into the CPU or Microcontroller, in which case your only option is to find one of those without the efu

And every server will have to be put on a different schedule. By running it every 60 minutes, it doesn't matter when it runs, it automatically aligns. Once you managed 200 servers, that becomes valuable and no longer manually managable

After the first time the binary is executed, it should be comfortably in the memory disk cache. And frankly, on a modern SSD, the sector size is large enough that the only difference is reading 3 instead of 1 sectors to call "ls".

QUIC and ECH cover the leakage of host information already, so DNS over TLS/HTTPS is plenty useful already IMO. Just needs the hosts to upgrade to support ECH or QUIC. Plus it's never bad to cover your bases, DNS queries are for m

A VHS drive uses a different encoding pattern, the head of the VHS player is physically incapable of moving like the head of an LTO tape. Additionally it lacks precision as an LTO tape is much more densely packed. Lastly, LTO drives use dif

It helps dispersing jobs like backups. If you have 20 servers, your backup storage is not hit by them all at the same time. Even better, because it takes into account how long it runs, if two servers hit it at the same time, the reduced per

Does that add a static random delay on bootup or does it randomly delay the job each time? Because for timers you can pick that for every single timer individually.

Yes but anacron is still a bit less powerful than timers, since I can schedule a timer to run every hour instead of once an hour plus on reboot in two very short config lines. And I don't think anacron has a concept of running things e

Generally I would say the biggest difference is that with timers, you get more control. For example, you can schedule a timer to run 10 minutes after boot. Or a timer that actives 10 minutes after it has last finished running (note: not w

To be fair, that turbo pump and throttling control only has to work for about 5 minutes, that does make it a bit simpler by just engineering it to work for 15 minutes without breaking (safety margin included then).
