Circumventing shadow bans is fairly annoying to handle correctly; you have to get a KNOWN clean account (which if it gets shadow banned, becomes useless without notice) and verify other posts. You have to wait some time after your post to

WASMtime is JIT, Innative is AOT. WASMtime means you can run webassembly data on the fly from memory. Innative compiles everything into a proper linkable C object, so you can link it as if it was natively compiled. It embeds LLVM so it shou

Well, also yes, the side effect being that third party OBC's won't crash your game if they go down. And I would point out I've gotten the OBC in the default plane models to crash a few times, they either get stuck in some und

Basically, yeah, it isolates the interactive parts of the plane (animations, likely, as well as OBC and friends). The WASM Runtime used is on github, https://innative.dev/

This isn't about manipulating to have people do something for you. The article is about people feeling guilty for throwing trash on the ground instead of in the trash can. If that is evil then I don't know where your morality is c

Fun fact: The new MS Flight Simulator 2020 uses WebAssembly to run the software for the aircrafts in game. You can check the release notes, where they do detail that webassembly is used for the SDK as well. The intention is likely that if t

Okay, to elaborate, a solution like the one proposed in the article, if implemented on ArchLinux, would prevent or minimize pacnew/pacsave. That doesn't make the rest of the comment irrelevant because pacnew/pacsave are speci

Well, the specified defaults are in a folder in /lib or /usr. You can find them there and copy them to /etc or just write what you change. The issue is not how much is backed up but what. If /etc only represents changes

Why shouldn't this be separated? All files that the distributor ships as configured ought to be put into /lib or /usr. Any system specific configuration belongs to /etc, but ONLY that configuration. On a fresh install

I would argue that /etc/rc.d should be moved to /lib/exec and then use /etc/defaults files to load command line flags from environment variables. This separates the core of the service file you are unlikely to

I'd do so where I live, I've never had the postal service here loose any mail. I could even pay 5€ extra and the insurance for the mail contents would cover if the 5000$ vanished, in the unlikely event that happened. Tbh, amazon d

I doesn't have to be impossible to access but the hoster shouldn't just log into my system and download arbitrary data from it. I'm not asking for perfect confidentiality, just contractual confidentiality.

Then your union is bad and you should work to improve it. No wonder if US unions always end up so bad if apparently nobody is willing to fix things and let pancilpushers do it.

There is plenty more OSS software that has polished and usable UI design. Possibly software you'd not think of as OSS to begin with. Being so dismissive of the user's wants is just Apple fanboyism.
