It's common the market, the police can't really do much about the buyer if it's delivered via postal service. You can just claim you didn't know what that package is or who ordered it.

In germany, a common method is using dead-mans package stations from DHL using stolen one-time credentials to pick up the package.

This website doesn't do private messages an such. Every comment and post is public. However, on social networks where you do have that function, a user might have a legit reason to want a video to be private. When you have media that i

I use the app sometimes. Going through my feed, most videos are DnD or fantasy related, there is no sexualized content and haven't seen any misinformation about any elections. The app tailors the feed to your habits and inputs.

There is a due process if the creator of whatever was complained about decides to do something about it. Additionally, this is only a flagging process for plainly illegal content, it can (and is on FB and other platforms) be a separate proc

If all you have is a hammer... It's not the first time debian package policies seem backwards and trying to shove a square peg through a round hole. I hope the solution does not end up being "make APT do it" because APT is a

If the two points you select on the sphere are poles of eachother (ie, their distance through the sphere is equal to the sphere's diameter, then you need to have an infinite distance from the sphere. What you're looking for is a t

Yes, but how would one go about removing posts that violate human decency? If I were to host an instance, I would want to not host any content illegal in my country (Child Porn for example). How do you go about preventing that?

ZFS cannot have different sizes in a single vdev and I'm tired of having to explain this to people everytime I mention this issue.

That is true, but I suspect that only happens to protect the zpool against tools like the Windows Repair Install (which likes to attempt repairs on disks without GPT label). Using ZFS on a partition inside a GPT disk tends to lead to a few

One thing Btrfs somewhat promised was mixed disk RAIDs. Ie, having a 2TB disk and a 1TB disk and being able to say "keep 2 copies of any data in this subvolume" and "keep only 1 copy in this subvolume". I'm currentl

The fee also pays for FUNK, which in turn funds a bunch of good channels, like, for example, Kurzgesagt on Youtube (both English, Spanish and German). Which is money well spent. Just like Arte, which has plenty of good content. (Quoting a r

Correct, on Windows there is no stable syscall interface, same for BSD. Hence you're supposed to link things. But Linux syscall interface is stable and libc is definitely not stable.

libc is not stable, glibc breaks plenty of times (try running some real old software without relinking glibc). The only stable system API is the linux kernel syscalls. Those basically don't break.

The user manager directs things like user services. That can be things like starting pulseaudio on a desktop machine, for example, or gnupg on general systems so the user has a gnupg daemon available in their own UID space. This alleviates
