Many reasons including: * Poor modeling ability (lack of default interface methods, no records, pattern matching, exhaustiveness checks, etc.). * Error handling is error prone. * Generics are half baked. * No short hand syntax for passing f

Read this: https://www.nytimes.com/2023/10/24/world/middleeast/gaza-hos... Furthermore, yesterday or 2 days ago, the zionist media released CGI footage of a supposed secret HQ under the hospital. Wh

What this conflict did is bring down the mask of the many blood thirsty people in society. It's been sobering to say the least.

There's a dark joke that the Israelis trust what's coming out of Hamas more than the news coming out of the zionist media. We've seen the comical lies the latter did in order to justify their war crimes, from "40 beheade

Let's not forget that they also called the Palestinians animals. Sounds awfully similar to another genocidal regime that ruled over Germany before WWII.

Did people in Gaza admit they were being used as human shields, or is this another pro-zionist talking point? We saw what Bassem Yousuf did on Piers' show.

Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, Ukraine, and now Palestine. The blood thirsty war mongerers must keep it going. Disgusting.

> Marriage gives the partner a claim on a big chunk of the man's assets, so it incentivizes women to divorce their husbands Mainly in the west is it unfair and broken that way. Perhaps they should look into fixing their marriage

No they're not losers, the opposite in fact. Contrary to what the media tells you, many women are happy. Comments here are proving my points further. We don't need western "liberation" thank you very much.

That's what the media tells you. What we should do is give them the benefit of the doubt until they clear the brainwashing attempts the west tried to put in their curricula. They already said they have no issues with women getting educ

And they're "enslaved" how? Because the western backed media told their viewers that those women should be free to be naked and follow their western peers, otherwise they're "oppressed" and miserable?

The issue is not the death penalty itself, but the application and the system around it in the US. For an alternative approach, in Islam we have a rule that Ḥadd punishments are to be averted by rejecting doubtful evidence. The point is to

golang isn't in the same league as the other languages mentioned. And Java and C# have come a long way since to be expressive as well as lesser syntax heavy (type inference, records, pattern matching, string templates, etc.)

Wikipedia states: "al-Maliki worked closely with the Multi-National Force (MNF–I), and continued to cooperate with the United States following the withdrawal from Iraq." And "we" as in Muslims.

Why prosecute just the troops and not those in command who ordered the war crimes? Starting with Bush sr, Clinton, Bush, Obama, and the rest of the gang and all the way down the chain of command.

Why ironic? Java is a multi paradigm language (though obviously not at the same level as say C++). It has been getting "functional" features for a while now, including streaming libraries, pattern matching, immutable records, etc.

It's a straw man argument that the implementation of a punishment will eliminate the crime. The goal is to act as a deterrent. Safe countries like the Gulf States have the death penalty, have strong security, and it works quite well th
