I remember .cc being marketed as "the new .com" 20 years ago or so. Never did see many .cc domains.

Considering viruses are basically just spring loaded injectors, I guess about as much of a soul as a rock ready to fall over in a strong wind.

Oh that sounds cool. I guess that would make it a ZISC? What kind of applications did you have in mind for it?

What's the architecture specialized for? Like a GPU or something?

Me too! Having your own working CPU design running actual programs is a whole different rush. Hopefully this year I can get mine running on an FPGA.

According to the linked heise.de article the defendant assumed the credentials were for a database that only contained his client's data, and immediately disconnected as soon as he realized he was actually seeing data for all of the co

I remember in the late 90s/early 00s PC Magazine or something had an ad in the back for a "monster" 47 GB hard drive. That's so quaint now.

There's an excellent video series by Ben Eater on YouTube where he builds an 8-bit CPU on breadboards. I followed along and built something like it in Logisim, but 16-bit. Logisim wasn't very fast, and I was getting really sick of

How to design a microcoded CISC CPU, then a RISC CPU. Nothing fancy in terms of getting modern applications to run on it, but it was a lot of fun seeing how much faster it could be than the CISC CPU. I've been looking into FPGAs but ma

I have a tool I've been working on on and off, and after several years it's actually working. But I was barely smart enough to do even that. If people actually started using it and asking for features that would be a nightmare for
