Anybody heard about joxa? Think about erlang beam features on a clojure with scheme like simplicity.

It doesen't look like a game engine. It looks more like a game development framework, using SDL, and PyGame.

Look at the forums and stuff.. They seem to speak of python as kings and ruby as a second class citizen...

And Haskell is pretty much readable :) The most readable fp language out there, at least for me! (I would also like to say, that it is one of the most readable programming language, I have dealt with)

Difficult does not mean not elegant. For example, I find ruby more elegant and pragmatic than python though ruby is relatively difficult. Now the real part : Is haskell difficult or is it strange?

I wonder what's comming up next as the new game industry standard programming language after C++? People like, John Carmack have 'personally' invested a lot in C++ (with DX and GL)
