I have three questions (maybe not on-topic) - 1) How much harder and stranger will it be to do VR graphics programming? 2) Can we predict when we will be able to replicate real world in a graphics application? 3) AI has a end goal of achiev

Timing for the argument is very crucial. Your arguments for adopting a new language will only work when other employees and your BOSS see your solution run, and that at the correct time, when most of the people are not satisfied with the cu

A little bit off-topic: Aren't quantum computers similar to the 'proposed' PCMOS analog computers based on memristors and spin torque oscillators? The programming model looks the same, and the machine code is 'complex&#x

A similar kind of course for graphics programming is highly desirable. Also, I might like to add, PS4 toolchain fully supports LLVM- Clang. It might be wonderful if rustc starts running on it too...

There are languages specially groomed to replace C++, like D and Rust, but they might never; Not in this decade. The day LLVM gets rewritten in Rust, that day Rust barely starts replacing C++.....

C++ cant be so easily replaced by Rust, even though rust seems to be a better language. The more possible case is that Rust's great ideas get ported into C++NewX standard. Even if Rust is to be our new systems labguage, we will have to
