This is completely random, but what pixel scrolling strategy are you using? Do you allow sub-pixel positions or do you clamp to a pixel grid?

The Fate series which later spawned a massive franchise (multiple games, movies and books) started off as an eroge.

If you haven't done it, then the statistical proofs for the gas equations and the proofs for Maxwell's equations also rank up there for me as well.

Graeber's essays come up from time-to-time. Philosophy usually gets upvoted quite highly.

Arch's documentation is incomplete? Arch has to have the most comprehensive documentation of all the distros. Even when I'm troubleshooting other distros I'll check the Arch wiki first!

I wonder if it has anything to do with the WebGPU standards not allowing it for browsers, or even maybe that it's not actually a meaningful question from WebGPU's point of view (iirc, they have their own allocator).

Yes. It can be a major PITA, in certain problem spaces and I think most people don't pretend it's a great solution but ultimately accept it as a limitation of being hosted on the JVM.

Scala only does single method tail recursion and rewrites it into a while loop. Cats and other libraries use a technique called trampolining which basically moves the frames to the heap (or a mixed technique where they do recurse a certain

Worth noting for c (and hence your niche language of choice via ffi) there is also glfw for windowing and webgpu-native which is from the same folk as wgpu. EDIT: and also libuv which is the cross platform event loop for node.

I used Wayland for almost everything (AMD GPU), but the performance for some applications such as Blender are absolutely abysmal currently. I have to switch to X when using those apps.

It feels like it would work really well (you could even swap between arenas per frame). I've been wanting to try something similar but it's early days.

You're forgetting about custom build scripts. Thankfully most of the core ones have moved off cloning dependencies for ffi purposes (think cloning an alsa-lib version for ffi), but it used to be super common.

It's certainly true for a lot of corporate graduate schemes require a 2.1 in a relevant subject and reputable university in the UK. It's typically used as an initial filter.

One point to add to all of the great points here is consider getting a smaller keyboard (or an ergodox) especially if you're on the smaller side (for the same reason as the last point, stretching less tends to be nicer on the tendons).

Is what the same as Wayland? Maybe you've misunderstood the article? The process is running as root and reading directly from /proc; the article acknowledges that it's essentially a keylogger.

I'm not sure I agree with your article. I can think of at least one way to structure an ISA such that incentives aren't aligned. Since it's relatively risk-free, the ISA could essentially just optimize for number of students
