First of all, the solution isn't mine - not taking credit for it. Second, the solution is specific for the Atheros firmware. Not sure about how good it works for the Broadcom firmware. I'm checking it anyway (I have the latter).

Lots of domains show up available when they're not. Domain hacks would be great. Otherwise - nice interface, very responsive.

Why would I need a desktop in the cloud? Everything can be done much faster via an ssh command line. I don't get it. Very nice tutorial though, good intro to EC2 for newbies.

This is a very important article. An eye opener. My takeaway is this - Facebook is the first web application that showed us how easy it is to connect to the people we love, as well as those we know, but do not care about. Facebook is the

Cool stuff, but nothing groundbreaking. Set up pre-commit and post-commit hooks, integrate with your run-of-the-mill CI suite or testing framework, hook up with deployment scripts - that's pretty much it.

Actually, I'm not even sure CC was the basis for this ruling, but rather Israeli copyright law. The main issue in this case was the dispute whether 15 images used illegally count for one violation of Israeli copyright law, or 15 - one per e

If Twitter aims to be yet another RSS reader, so be it. But I doubt that's what they're going after. Twitter indeed has a strong presence on the web, but I'm wondering how that presence can be translated into a self-standing business.
