I applied to the djangonauts twice - but was rejected both times. I always liked the idea, but perhaps my profile was not what they were looking for /shrug

I love Django. Ive been using it professionally and on side projects extensively for the past 10 years. Plus I maintain(ed) a couple highly used packages for Django (django-import-export and django-dramatiq). Last year, I had some free time

Ask yourself - where does his wealth (power) come from and how do you stop that? In his case - I assume most of it is from Palantir these days. Therefore stop your governments from contracting with them.

Id say this is a valid criticism of the b2c market (esp. for social networks). but there still is a viable b2b market where kyb/c is not as intrusive - and sometimes a regulatory requirement (finance, health, etc.).

IMHO, a Macintosh/Apple product is equally about the hardware that delivers the software. I dont want to belittle the authors work, but I would call this "building custom hardware for a pico-Mac project."

Not to mention that B2B SaaS needs to provide the login methods that their customers need for their operations, and these typically rely on Google, Microsoft, Okta, etc. I work on auth for a European startup and this is the case.
