That would always be an interesting experiment, if only the people in power would ever allow it. Unfortunately, all political parties try their hardest to perpetuate and foster “illegal” immigration to fill their own pockets.

It’s actually not clearly mentioned what PII is exposed in the article. Feels like the usual fear mongering blogspam.

This is a fundamentally misguided take. An equivalent comparison would be jailing all humans to keep them safe from each other. Humans having a home for occasional safety from environmental hazards is not the same as free-flying birds being

> We need antitrust enforcement on a massive scale across all industrial sectors The problem is that capitalism directly leads to centralisation for efficiency. Honestly not sure how that is solvable without massive changes to society.

He’s not using the general PPP measure - he’s just using the same concept applied to military tech. He clearly qualified it by saying “to reach the same capability”.

No, it’s not. Expecting to download content freely from a subscription-based platform, where the creator/producer has ownership, is an unreasonable requirement. Go buy a DVD, or convince YouTubers to release MP4s for money.

The elitist mindset of expressing disgust at “low IQ” people is wrong. Please do link some sources proving the necessity of only “high IQ” populace, and how that’s sustainable as a society.

That seems like an arbitrary requirement - no other media streaming platform allows for this. In fact, YouTube is the only one that’s even possible to reasonably use/download for free.
