Yeah, that's "the mouse book" in my mind. The tiger book is also a very good compilation of topics, though it leaves things as "exercise for the reader" more often than I would like to. https://www.goodre

Interesting experience and perhaps not entirely surprising given that type-hole driven development was already a thing prior to LLMs. Like how many ways are there to implement "[a] -> [b] -> [(a,b)]", let alone when you prov

The website has come a long way, a good reminder for Santa to drop a donation. Computer graphics needs more open education for sure. Traditional techniques are sealed in old books you have to go out of your way and find; Sergei Savchenko&#x

Are you saying 501 non-profits don't pay capital gains? (b) certainly avoids tax on the donor's part, but on the non-profit? I am assuming the non-profit would have to convert to fiat to do something useful with the donation.

Never seen a better description of Jordan B Peterson. Should also add climate-change denier there.

That's interesting that reset() wipes the lifetime of references. Good reading material too, thanks.

Just look at what they are stating: > that did exactly what I needed > I have zero knowledge of k8s, helm or configmaps. Obviously this is not anything resembling engineering, or anything a respectful programmer would do. An elevator

Obviously you have no kids or live in a remote cabin isolated from society. Banning social media in principle is like banning the sales of alcohol and other drugs to underage people. Those bans are good for society irrespective of your pare

Of course, being able to call out a sorting algorithm is the kind of thing that makes you very "cool and in touch" in the grander scheme of things, unlike, say, playing sports or lifting 500lbs.

Many studios don't even hire rendering engineers anymore. Much of AAA is UE5 slop. And then there is the looming AI slop, which publishers are already thinking about. I think it'll burst at some point, but it'll get worse bef
