I think that's their goal though, right? The first step to controlling thought is controlling language.

Exactly this. I've been homeless twice (once as a kid and once as a young adult). I don't speak about it often, but when I do that is the language I use. There is no need to sugar coat it, and call it something else. People are to

I think it's understood that the poster is referring to the main subs, and that's a fair assessment of them. You're right that not every sub is authleft, but the mods of the largest subs certainly fit that profile completely.

This is the argument conservatives have been making for years. They were told to build their own platform if they didn't like it, so the irony couldn't be thicker.

I could see the good will argument as it relates to a real journalist, but I don't think anybody takes Taylor Lorenz seriously, do they? She's appears to just be a doxxer and social media outrage peddler.

She made her name doxxing people (LibsofTikTok being one of the more egregious examples). California has a law against doxxing. I personally think it's stupid, but my opinion doesn't matter. I do see the irony though with how voca

Italy can't control what others pay, but using your example does Italy pay all of their players the same, or do they generally pay more money to their better players?

I feel like you're trolling, or just setting up a strawman since the argument has been lost. But in good faith, I'll try one more time. "Better players" are defined by production on the field. That better play on the fie

Uh...no. Better players make more money (due to meritocracy). Do you think the better players should make the same as the worst players?

You seem to have misread the sentence. Having a municipality that runs a utility is not at all related to how a US state could seize the assets of a private company, fire the Board of Directors and steal the ownership shares from all of its
