It's not about surfacing organic human content, it's about only indexing organic human content. The problem is automated indexing. So long as indexing works according to defined rules, the advantage will be to those able to shape

I have a big whiteboard on the wall and write my to-dos on there. Being big and in the open is important--if you can hide away the task list, it won't be effective. It needs to hang over you, literally. You need to be able to see it •u

Two primary reasons: 1. Ruby is a very flexible language, and that has its ups and downs. While it makes it a very pleasurable easily modifiable syntax, it also leaves a lot of room for bad patterns. Ruby won't judge someone for taking

Perhaps, but without any actual statistics or expert claims to back it up, this doesn't seem to me a sound rationale against which to take risks with our health.

I think the attitude might be that we should prohibit and punish the behaviors, not the source. If someone is being belligerent or otherwise disruptive in a public space, whether or not they're drinking alcohol should not be a factor.

I think the point of the post above is that if a company faces a death-or-lie scenario, they're incentivized to put as much effort as possible into covering things up. Whereas if there's some leniency, they're more incentiviz
