You have both. For the $25/month, you can enable manual or automatic scaling. I said a mistake on the pricing, their 1GB memory is at $50/month. Are you thinking to add 512MB instances ? The load-balancer pricing is still confusin

The main thing that disturbs me is load balancer ready pricing. Heroku is ready to scale by default and cheaper. Don't get me wrong, I'm really happy to see alternatives, I don't like monopoly
