There has been some discussion in /r/stablediffusion I'm not sure if anyone tried to run it though.

Curious there is no discussion on this. I think it looks interesting. If nothing else, I'm glad someone is still working on open-weight image models. AFAIK there hasn't been much movement in the area since Flux.

The sim on your link is not blank anymore. I can see a map, some entities and some simple paths they take.

In case Anna's archive goes down, plenty of people will be glad that SciHub exists. And vice versa, of course.

It's better to have redundancy with these things. I would rather see both Anna's archive and SciHub stay operational.

This is an absurd claim since it takes a single counter-example to disprove. E.g. you can pay for Mullvad in crypto, Mullvad is not a scam. You can trade predictions on Polymarket, Polymarket is not a scam.

There are people who use crypto for transactions. Stablecoins are stable and for some people the fees are far lower than any alternatives.

Convincing people to finance their groceries is absurd. Ideally, everyone should have a few months’ worth of income saved. And if they do, there's zero reason to finance a burrito. In the Western world, if you have a job but no savings

I haven't read it yet, but I keep seeing it recommended on this website again and again, so something about it must be good. And I think there is one more similar spider civilization book that's also popular – A Deepness in the Sk

Tress of the Emerald Sea is set on quite a unique world. The planet is covered by oceans of magical "spores" which react violently to water. For example the spores in the Emerald Sea, where the hero is from, instantly grow into ma

You don't have to like the game, but Creation Engine was definitely not "trash" by 2010 standards, lol.

I've played heavily modded versions of both of those games, but let's not kid ourselves that the available mods are anything like another first party game would be. (I'm alluding to the scale and richness of the world, story

What I don't get is why don't they milk their engines a bit more. I would expect it to make sense to pump out a few more games after GTA 5 based on the same engine. New maps, new stories, same mechanics. I know GTA Online exists b

Let's try "samsung fridge review". The top results are a reddit thread, consumer reports article, Best Buy listing, Quora thread and some YouTube videos by actual humans. Where is this slop you speak of?

In private companies people probably consider the issue to be 'less wrong'. It's up to the owners and their management how they run it, right? So it's more about discrimination than government-style corruption.
