Maybe it's not possible for all character pairs, but we could have a font-face with plenty of possible pairs and render them as ligatures. AD -> render an A that looks like a D when viewed upside down DA -> render the same charac

I think this is nice as it underlines how certain seemingly small things can feel incredibly disturbing to another individual (non-autistic one as well!) It seems like one of those games that I'm going to recall in various situations i

What's 'normal' for me is pretty much the same thing, but without the intense reactions to the light and sound stimuli. And the rest generally toned down.

I don't think that extreme is normal. Yes, there are people who take an energy boost and are never worried by situations you mention, but they are rare.

Naive question — why is everyone building chromium-based browsers as opposed to using Gecko? Is it difficult to integrate?

That makes sense. I would say that at least draggable elements shouldn't be selectable on the web neither. But should non-draggable elements in native apps be selectable?

Why do you make a difference between tabs in a native app and in a web app? The optimal UX should be the same.

It's not though. You can't download an mp4 to use however you wish with YouTube Premium. And definitely not via an API.

Tangential: Do you have any recommendations for webdev LLM tools? I would like to inspect some part of the DOM and chat about it with an LLM, including the CSS rules that are applied to each subnode in my selection.

I don't read there as in there would be any networking involved. If the other user had a competitor device that does the same thing there should be no difference. I might be wrong of course.

I never ever had a problem of not being sure how to go back in an iOS app, so I don't see why a dedicated button is such a missing feature. Polish is also about visual consistency and Android is behind on that front.

How come? If the other person has any other device that translates for them then you can talk to them easily with Airpods.

I find it useful to underline the intrinsic properties of LLMs. When an LLM makes up something untrue, it's not a 'bug'. I think that thinking of all LLM output as 'hallucinations' while making use of the fact that

Maybe it goes against the definition but I like saying that _all_ output is a hallucination, when explaining LLMs. It just happens that a lot of that output is useful/corresponding with the real world.

In Slovakia superchargers cost around 0.30-0.37 €/kWh, while the competitors are priced around 0.45-0.60, so yes there is a major price difference as well. To be fair the others offer subscription plans which lower the price, but such

Open water diving around coral reefs and shipwrecks is simply beautiful. (Maybe sadly now less-so than it used to be.) Divers love to spend time down there in a weightless state. I think what happens next, if you get deep enough into the sp

My father used to be a technical cave diver. There are plenty of beautiful diving places inland. For example the Dubnik opal mines, which are not so far from Budapest. I'm proud of him, but I'm very glad that he's not doing i
