I'm impressed with the state of 32kbit AAC streams. You could fit almost 6 minutes of that onto a floppy, and the quality is much higher than an 8-bit MP3

That was my assumption as well. I imagine a worker being chastised for gluing "bricks" to the wall over a window in the wrong orientation, not because the wall will fail, but because they won't look right. https://

GP said that the motivation was racial, you said that the motivation was law and order. You can determine motivation better from future actions than from past context, and the actions showed a bias towards incarcerating minorities. If the i

The one or both speakers could use a handshake noise at the start of the call to tell the receiver that it's capable of "speaking" a modem protocol. It might change a little every time, or be of an especially low or high freq

I was going to say those are knives, but I defer to wikipedia: "Cutlery is more usually known as silverware or flatware in the United States, where cutlery usually means knives and related cutting instruments." [ https:/

Privacy is a spectrum. You can choose to be at one end of it, but not everyone shares your opinion. As a local app your data has a different legal status, and you actually have a lot of control over the execution compared to a web service.

I don't think this puts enough emphasis on the fact that it is a local client and not a web service. I see some people here griping about Electron, but the privacy implications of being a local app are way more important than the perfo

That’s not the same as perjury, and relatively few people have been convicted of this. If it were “illegal either way”, then there would be no point to swearing people in. A decision was made to not swear him in, and he knows this.
