Let's say the patent issue was rendered unnecessary (maybe courts require safety tech but also require the patent to be allowed royalty free) -- how much would this add to the cost of the saws? If the patent was still valid and they ha

Everyone isn't quite accurate; do they sell and advertise saws with this at Home Depot, Lowes, etc. where most people buy their power tools? I also think that thinking this will remove consumer choice is inaccurate as well, because if

I remember seeing this either on Science or Discovery channel when I was younger, talking about great inventions. I remember thinking it was a good idea, but forgot about it until last week when I saw an article pop up about the patent issu

When I originally set up flux, it had the default night time colors way too orange, somewhere like 1900K. This made my eyes strain quite heavily and I had to turn it up to a usable level. Has this been changed/fixed?

But that's separate right? UPS losing it is different than the seller never shipping it. In the former you should have paid for insurance, and the latter you should know within 30 days if it shipped.

I think 30 days is really reasonable to see if something shipped or not. Maybe eBay could do more to alert you but if you purchase something you really should follow up and make sure you're getting it.

I really don't like how you characterize younger people able to work longer hours as something to do with motivation or drive. That's not the deciding factor, as many founders, including technical ones, of startups are well into t

I think this is a case where Facebook will do poorly. I'm not sure if there are studies done on this, but it does feel nicer when I get a preroll ad or something unobtrusive on YouTube (and of course no ads on Netflix) when compared to

My thoughts are that 'you' as a person change constantly, year to year, and who you are now is not the same as 5, 10, more years ago. I don't think it's so much that you are a different person because you lost a limb or
