With how I've defined form, I'm not sure how you could. Who in their right mind does math on a computer, math is implemented on a computer, but it's done by hand.

The difference is that form is important in mathematics and not very important in programming. Therefore symbols are used because it makes it easier for the eye to recognize patterns. For example these equations look similar, x^2+4x+5=0 y

Terence Tao wrote that mathematical maturity is developed in three stages: the pre-rigor stage, the rigor stage, and the post-rigor stage. The rigor stage usually begins during the second or third year of university, and ends about half way

If you know single variable calculus and basic linear algebra, then you can often muddle through by just remembering that the derivative of, (1) f: R^n -> R is a vector (2) f: R -> R^n is a vector (3) f: R^m -> R^n is an n x m matr

All Quiet on the Western Front It's a quick read, and can be finished in a single sitting if one has the mind to. It had been on my list for a long time, and lived up to its expectations. The narrator's description of death as, &q

I'm sorry to hear about what happened to your significant other. I developed permanent neuropathy and muscle problems in my lower legs after a course of Levaquin for a respiratory infection. Constant fasciculations, cramping, and pain.

I assumed the implication would be clear from the analogy. In the last 20 years the US has invaded two of Iran's neighbors, Iraq to the west, and Afghanistan to the east.

My intention was to point out the irony of Chinese nationals wanting to immigrate to the US, ostensibly because China is ruled by a bunch of "crazy psychopaths". When the reality is that the US is also run, at least in part, by a

Theta is the angle, r is the radius. Thus PMs are good at figuring out in what direction to concentrate their effort, and then the engineers make progress in that direction. That's how I interpreted it at least.
