Does this also apply to HEIC? We've had trouble with users trying to upload images captured on their iPhones. It only works in Safari.

> The most obvious one is that your dataset doesn't share a lot of features with the pretrained dataset. This is pretty common in vision tasks where the pretrained set is usually ImageNet. If you've seen a paper that verifies t

How big is the gap? I did some testing & found that so long as it's similar domain (eg don't pre-train for COCO on X-Rays) it still helps. https://blog.roboflow.com/transfer-learning-similarity/ The intui

Roboflow does! You can train your own model or choose from over 10,000 others have trained & shared[1]. To self-host just run npx @roboflow/inference-server Then you can POST an image at any of the models to localhost:9001 eg base6

Really neat project! Any interest in open sourcing the dataset? We'd be happy to host it & would love to feature it under our collection of pest control computer vision datasets[1]. [1] https://universe.roboflow.com/

I'd certainly be interested in any legal differences if there are any! My opinion is that if the outcome is the same (a view from above is made publicly available) the how isn't a "large difference" from a moral perspect

It doesn't currently, this[1] is the dataset of ~50 images I collected that I trained the model on. I'm not really an expert so I just labeled the things I thought looked like solar panels. It's mostly meant to be an example

As I understand it, the current state of the law (in the US at least) is that airspace is considered a public space governed by the FAA and you have no expectation of privacy in your front/back yard. It's basically the same as sat

Love that idea -- and I think there are probably several startups that could be spun up on top of this (off the top of my head: search & rescue, monitoring swimmers in triathlons, helping governments identify zoning violations like unre

Excited to see semantic search getting legs with this and Lexica[1]. Related: we recently released[2] semantic search for custom datasets. You can use it to find all sorts of weird stuff in benchmark datasets like MS COCO[3] used to train m
