Tech that works over time is supposed to reduce the Price of a good or service. Tech workers and their lifestyles are not sustainable if the Tech actually does that.

As a deaf person I have been watching "live" speech recognition demos for 20-30 years. All look great. Using it in day to day life is crazy cause if you have 1 mistake per 10 words it builds up over time to be supremely annoying.

It keeps the MIL complex revenues up. Things only make sense after you add how the cash flows. It corrupts everthing in multiple ways at mutiple levels. Mil complex pays no price for bad outcomes. They benefit from them.

The "secretive" part given the sheer size of China is the mystery. How do they even keep it under wraps? Stalin's time there were a handful of hubs to control. In China there are hundreds of power centers.
