I guess that sort of explains why they refuse to take in birds of prey, though it still seems a bit based on ignorance for a Jain hospital to do so since at least the vultures are willing to eat an alternative diet without meat. Not sure if

On Android, Scala gets compiled to dex bytecode just the same as Java. Scala has slightly more overhead though from making lots of small objects, but the tradeoff is worth it if you prefer not using Java. I stick to using Java Collections (

If you don't need the sbt build system for your project, it's pretty simple to get started. Here's my guide (and some code examples) for using just proguard + Intellij. Using sbt isn't difficult to set up either, though

I never heard of anyone in the US using "an herb" and I've lived my entire life there. Also never heard the 'h' not being pronounced. I mostly lived in the East/Midwest, so perhaps the pronunciation differs els

When I was learning C++, it was conveyed that structs were more for combining like data that didn't necessarily require a class because it had a bit less overhead. An example would be a lot of variables that are related, but have no me

Still used less than a few months ago. My interviewer was at least pleasant and helpful though. Would be nice if they would just make a plugin for major IDEs/Editors and let people use what they want.

I could see it being done with annotations + processing them perhaps, as some frameworks do for database properties such as index/uniqueness. An object for every scalar datatype is just overkill, even if it solves a legitimate problem.

Primary advantage (to me at least) over other frameworks and server-side platforms is that it's asyncronous by design versus something tacked on or optional that you decide to use later (which could be problematic if you have a lot of
