Was there an unsubscribe link in the email? I've had other annoying services claim they didn't need it, but they were making money off their service, soliciting developers and were in violation of the CAN-SPAM Act.

What makes you think Standard US Cellular Network (AT&T, T-Mobile, etc) GSM traffic isn't encrypted? It is encrypted, just that that at least some of the older ciphers used have been broken. Gr-GSM (which is mentioned used in the l

I'm not sure who is making those sort of arguments. Aside from many imperative languages that implement functional language features (pretty much all of them these days), there already exist hybrid languages. For example, Scala is an i

If you can find it, the BBC's Fall of Eagles[1] documentary series is one of the best I've seen on depicting the Kaiser and the other 19th Century Monarchs of Central Europe and their downfall. It also has a very young Patrick Ste

Yeah, it's one of those lazy loading js implementations that tries to be too clever. It's not only lazy loading them, but it's trying to load different sizes based on the client. Not sure if anything they do would be better t

I couldn't find any source for the OP's statement either. Really wish people would back up their statements with a quick reference when it's proposed as a fact and not an opinion.
