I think most cyclists tend to ride closer to home, where they know all the routes so wouldn't need Waze Vs going on long trips in a car where you don't know the route and the road is more likely to be blocked of by an accident

Maybe focus more on software design / general architecture. Or teaching programming concepts. Or some other job that you would be using your knowledge while not having to stare at code for hours on a screen.
