Haskell doesn't make it clear what things will process the fastest. For example in Java you can use hashmaps or arraylists depending on the situation and it is easy to optimize for run time. But I'd have no idea how to do this in

That's not true in the long term. For example if you buy a house and then rent it, you will eventually earn back the cost of buying it, unless there is some kind of disaster in the market. Stocks are really no different.

Why do lives need a trajectory other than survival? Seems unnecessary and merely a cultural phenomenon. This is why higher education is a luxury.

In India it's half of the workforce. So I don't think your 1% is accurate. Also most jobs are nonessential for human survival, unlike agriculture.

Some sports cars have more owners from the top 1 percent than the bottom 60. What's the big deal? Besides, farming is the backbone of civilization. You don't need much education for that. Everything we have nowadays is extra.

>How can a judge rule that a private party must sell their property to another private party? If the law says you can do it, and nothing in the state or federal constitution prevents it, then why not?

Well that depends if your ideal society is one that optimizes for rights or one that optimizes for good land use.

You can win money from gambling. Also smoking makes people feel good and that counter-balances the negative health effect for some.

I think your brain is optimized around preventing yourself from losing things (such as money, items, relationships, etc.). For example, if the hot water is left on in your house, most adults would rush over and shut it off.

Most people who vote prioritize jobs, the economy, and stuff like that. They don't really think about the Constitution so much.

That's the price of freedom. Banning birth control and abortions would probably keep the population growing or at least stagnant.

The Bill of Rights is just a piece of paper. What really matters is how the people in various government branches interpret it.

I doubt it. You don't think Bitcoin has a fair market cap at around $10-20 billion? Seems like a reasonable range to me, especially since gold is worth way over $1 trillion. The gold bubble should pop way before Bitcoin does.

You can borrow Bitcoin from a friend, sell the Bitcoin on an exchange, and then buy your friend the same amount of Bitcoin a month from now.

That's not true. I withdrew some Bitcoin out of the exchange at that time. It was a month or so later when it was impossible to withdraw any funds.
