Krita has improved a lot lately. It doesn't crash as easily as before. When drawing with a brush, and then a line and then a brush again, an annoying window pops up complaining about the layers. I wish it would just select the appropri

This is my greatest fear, more than death: to stop learning, to stop creating, to stagnate. I wonder if nutrition or exercise has an impact on this. I would eat broccoli every day if I thought it would improve my chances.

There's always Arch Linux ARM, FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD and RiscOS. They all run on a Raspberry Pi 4. What are you looking for that those aren't covering?

How is that an advantage? A C compiler is needed in either case, either for using together with Nuitka or for compiling Pyston in the first place, right?

I'm sure you understood what I meant, but if you want to be literal, then yes: you can also install packages with pacman while offline, if you have downloaded the packages first. This command downloads the packages without installing t

You are right. I thought git itself had changed the default branch from master to main, but I found no mention of that in the release notes. I was wrong on the internet.

Yes, for orchestras this may be hard to achieve. But for many instruments, tuning A slightly down to 432 is feasible. Perhaps future technology can save us so that orchestral music can be fixed in the mix.

    by xyproto 6y ago

I fully agree that changing master to main doesn't really solve anything. When supporting people, they should be supported in a way that matters. git itself changing the default branch name to main was a sufficiently good reaso

That video is mainly about conspiracy theories. To me, 432 Hz for A just sounds way better and warmer.
