>Generic erasure is a giant pain in the rear Personally, I don't get the sentiment. Yeah, decompiling might not produce the original source code, which is fair. It's possible to generate code using invokeDynamic and what not -

dynamic class loading is a major issue, and it's an integral feature. Realistically, there are very few cases that AOT and Java make sense.

that's so beyond obviously a sarcastic remark. In that regard I'd consider a vast majority of the humans totally capable of detecting dead pan sarcasm both in spoken and written speech.

Governments don't change constitutions pretty much anywhere. More also constitution changes are notoriously hard from requiring 75% of parliament votes, to 66% in two consecutive parliament assemblies (need to pass an election), and al

you cut the statement in the middle, it's very obviously in terms of bytecode as we talk about bytecode generation.

Yes, very much is... return is not a single statement or a single opcode. the call to f() is returned on the stack, that's assigned to some local variable via istore, there is no 'ireturn', yet. Then the g() method is called

finally stuff is executed prior to the 'return'; effectively it's placed before the 'return' statement. So it's quite obvious.

try/finally is effectively try/catch(Throwable) with copy all the code of the finally block prior to exiting the method. (Java doesn't have a direct bytecode support for 'finally') Nothing that cursed. It compiles t

To learn nuances, spoken language is quite important. I am not a translator and English is not my 1st language (technically) - I'd have no issues 'hopping' on a call.

That's not necessary true. Regardless the response is totally trash and the timezone (US west coast) likely doesn't help, either Also I'd expect if a person volunteers as translator they'd be pretty decent at speaking.

1st) you use ++def in a loop, don't be weird; 2nd) if 'abc' is to be used in the loop body, define in the loop, e.g. for (int def = 7, abc =3; ...); 3rd) this is an IntelliJ bug - both 'def' and 'abc' in t
