dark mode gets harder to read w/ age progressing...

Someone has to develop and maintain it. It's difficult to quantify the development/datacenter efforts with respect to end user displays. I do doubt dark mode comes ahead at all at any rate. Morealso, OLED displays are overall ill-

My daughter does, and she is a rare example. I consider it a waste of time/resources. Brings me back to black/green displays.

I have never sanitized any input, full respect to whatever text there is. It's simple - html/xml/javascript/json/url is not text. You render it with whatever tools you have to - and that tools happen not to be conca

The most noticeable difference is still the metal heatsink. LED drivers would be non-isolated ones, so only a single coil (not a transformer). The other part of the weight difference would be capacitors (hopefully larger ones), and (hopeful

realistically, running LEDs over 60C spells their death. I've routinely seen 5730 alike LEDs overdriven by more than 40mA (not just few).

This has been discussed multiple times here, a sibling comment is right - LEDs light bulbs are overdriven to show better numbers on the box - they are designed for universal voltage range: AC 90-264V - which leads to extra overheati

The LEDs are not driven at 5V - that would be one of the worst voltages to be driven. The LED bulbs are driven approx at 3.2V x number of LEDs. (some LED chips may have 3-4LEDs in series as well)

OLED suggestion is even worse due to lack of longevity, burn-in.

LCD is much harder to reader, and a lot more complex to drive. Vibration wise I'd take potted 7-segment display as well. Single color is a benefit. OLED would have much shorter life, along with burn in - 7 segment ones tend to display

if the li-ion is kept < 4.25v that should be no issue. I don't know why overcharging is even considered a thing (100% should be 4.22v or so for a standard li-ion cells). You can keep all tool batteries at around 4.2v (fully charged)

Pretty much yeah -- all laptop CPUs since Haswell have been non-socketable/BGA. I still have a rather decent laptop with such a CPU - acer aspire v3-771g. It's still in daily use, after 8y back I had to replace a faulty mlcc (shor

You can't compare appstore with other shops, though. It's the only shop that can possible exist, so it faces no competition at any rate by design.

actually the rules apply to everyone monopoly or otherwise, anti-competitive rules are not applied/enforced when there is a dominant market position only.

Most resistor in power supplies would be different values. For digital stuff and low current applications (along with designated FET drivers) you dont need too much.

It's an old topic[0], the site does reference it. Back then it was widely discussed in the overclock community. Effectively Intel's [6-10] series are all skylake. Shorting the cpu pins (well LGA) was possible even with a pencil&#
