rapidshare is a Swiss company, and the law is less crazy over here. but for corporate file sharing, i would recommend renting a VPS and organizing some simple SSH-based copying with FileZilla, for example. Or some HTTP-based sharing if you

I've built a couple of applications with Qooxdoo, and found it fairly simple, especially for the one like me, who was never programming any serious JS before. I still dislike javascript, but that's a different story :)

thanks, I'll give Gandi a try with my next domain. I am using some free services from Hurricane Electric, particularly an IPv6 tunnel and also a dynamic DNS after dyndns.com pissed me off. for production domains, I would still prefer a DNS

ok, point taken, thanks :) any advice for an alternative registrar with free DNS hosting? Preferably one with native IPv6 reachable DNS servers (which is not the case at godaddy)

what's horrible about GoDaddy? I used them for domain registration and DNS hosting, and everything went smoothly. The only annoying part, is how they try to sell additional goodies along the domain registration. the front page ladies weren'

I have a Comodo certificate purchased through cheapssl.com. There is one problem: some older android 2.3 phones don't recognize it as valid and refuse to download any non-html data files.

you actually forgot the most important mode that aria2 supports: the daemon mode with RPC interface, and aria2 can add new jobs to that daemon. thanks anyway, I was looking for such utility since awhile.

in my 10-years old project, removing all trailing whitespace would produce a 1000+ lines commit, and make many contributors' lives harder. so, thanks, but I'll keep my whitespace.

not during normal operation. but if the network connection is broken or you need to do disaster recovery, there's no way around and you ought to have a console graphical screen. what I love about old Sun servers, you can do all system admin

unfortunately almost all their system administration tools are GUI-based, so it will take awhile before they really make GUI optional. besides, if you have a non-GUI server system, it's already from the Unix family anyway :)
