this is mostly for msp430 I feel, msp430 is 16-bit and kind of strange to deal with, I'm happy to see this M0+ coming along to replace that.

not sure how useful this is, is the database stored in memory? how is it persistent? also non-blocking access is key otherwise you can easily freeze the UI.

git is not memory efficient by design, i used to push about 1G commit to the server and it hangs forever, i had to abort it and push in as small chunks instead
