The attack directed at CloudFlare has been mitigated at this time. Performance should be back at normal levels now. https://twitter.com/CloudFlareSys/status/433017584670093312

Thank you for the reply, really looking forward to being able to backup to DreamObjects (much cheaper than S3).

Beta 4 has been very buggy in my experience (yesterday) with it. S3 backup crashed the helper and then continued to crash the helper service. Tried a DreamObjects backup (hooray) but that also just crashed the helper service over and over a

Zero issues here from San Francisco. These types of threads on HN would be far more useful with specific location and diagnostic information included. Traceroute to facebook.com http://pastebin.com/Zc5XP06T

CloudFlare absolutely is not down. Sounds like a specific issue impacting where you're located. Please provide the output of: 1.) http://ajax.cloudflare.com/cdn-cgi/trace 2.) https://ajax.cloudflare.c

Please see: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=6640210 they mentioned that they saw a DDoS attack over night, and part of what CloudFlare offers is DDoS protection.

Comcast still appears to be serving stale DNS, just a note here. So if you're on Comcast you may still have trouble loading the site (and therefore no even seeing this comment) if you're on Comcast. OpenDNS, Google Public DNS, and

It's redirecting to a maintenance page for me now also. Looks like they might be working on some back-end things right now.

This seems to be what's wrong with the consumer culture when it comes to open source software. It is a sense of entitlement. If you want a feature, request it. The correct reply from the developer should be "thanks for the feedba

A bit of an update -- 4 days later they took my money at least (not PayPal) successfully. So hopefully they'll actually provide the service I've now paid for somewhere within this coming week.

I ordered one also and I'm waiting patiently .... but yeah, so far it's taking a very long time to get setup. I imagine they (stupidly) didn't expect this kind of demand for a dirt cheap dedicated box (really?).
