Step 1. Don't. Step 2. No seriously, just don't. If you cold email me I'll make sure you're reported to the various anti-spam organizations. Unsolicited "cold" emails (aka spam) are always a dumb idea.

Simpler than just changing your name servers? If you’re not using Route 53 you’ll need to do the exact same thing anyway.

This blog post is total BS. Finding the killswitch was not challenging - any number of other people would have found it. You’re just spreading FUD, and we don’t need more BS right now.

They mention you can use their DNS, if you pay them. Or, you could just use Cloudflare's free DNS. Plenty of benefits of using Cloudflare in front of Netlify -- such as full caching the static site on our edge so it doesn't even

I'd be shocked if you find a free one. My suggestion: go with Fastmail and add however many custom domains you need. Fastmail is great, and not all that pricey at the end of the day.

I'd love to figure this out also. I'm stuck ready stuff for work during the entire commute just to (barely) stay on top of the latest news. I can't find time to read a real book, and it is frustrating as hell.

No one is ignoring reports, nor does the blog post say that. If you have a complete report you can do so at cloudflare.com/abuse Humans review all submitted reports.

Cloudflare isn't down. If you're seeing an issue please send the error code + MTR to support {at} cloudflare {dot} com. WhatsApp definitely is/was down though, that's reported in multiple places.

The key here is they were actively trying to block Apple (via geofencing) from detecting this activity. Any other dev would have been banned from the App Store for life, but because they're Uber they just get a warning.

This looks really nice. I like the support for multiple backend storage options. Any plans to port this to Mac or Linux?
