Just for the record, for nicer inspection of files with such debug information, including compressed sections, and debuginfod support, Rizin[1] can be used, since starting from the 0.7.0 release[2] all of those were added. [1] https:/

Maybe it's finally time to start sunsetting LZMA and xz all together in favor of newer algorithms like Zstandard that also offer better performance but compression rates on par with LZMA.

Mutt is exactly something that would be nice to rewrite in Rust, moreover, splitting into various crates of working with email, so that it will be possible to reuse the same code for both TUI and GUI clients.

What do you mean? The Rizin code does all the hard part (we add uplifting code for every architecture manually; you can see a list of supported architectures using `rz-asm -L` and check for the `I` letter, which means "IL." You ne

I think using higher-level input, e.g. the intermediate language like RzIL[1] could produce better results and is more scalable for making such decompliation multiplatform. As RzIL text form resemples SMT, it should make LLM easier to "

Always quality content in that blog. We used MaskRay's article[1] on stack unwinding to improve our debuginfo (DWARF) support[2] in the past. If someone wants to have a more hands-on approach to executable file formats, e.g., XCOFF or

We don't follow radare2 development closely, to be honest. Instead, we prefer to focus on our own roadmap, which roughly is migrating to a new RzIL instead of ESIL in the context of the discussion, improving UX in both Rizin CLI and Cu

Rizin[1] is also able to uplift native code to the new RzIL, which is based on the BAP Core Theory[2] and is essentially an extension of SMT theories of bitvectors, bitvector-indexed arrays of bitvectors and effects[3]. [1] https:/&#x

Do you know if there is an issue for that particular problem in their Bugzilla[1]? If not, have you tried opening a new one? Could you share a sample to reproduce? Because I tried to search for "Shift JIS" on Bugzilla and found no

Sorry for the late answer. Yes, there is. We hoped a Keystone-based[1] plugin would be a better alternative since it's based on the LLVM code, but the project looks abandoned now[2]. [1] https://github.com/keystone-engi

You just need to learn that there are multiple metros and some JR trains, and then it will become easy to understand. Modern metro apps and maps can calculate the path using all of those without any problem.
