Well just out of curiosity. I mentioned the jailbreak because now people can have root access which could be useful, I don't know. Maybe the timing is just an coincident.

The question is how did anyone figure out this method? I know it was first exposed in a similar manner on iOS 4.1 but is there someone deliberately trying to break the passcode lock? Is the recent jailbreak helping?

Depend on where you live it might be illegal to do so.

You can always convert from individual account to company account. Just register as individual first and convert later, if you have to wait for DUNS number. I know getting a DUNS number sucks but there is way around it.

Panning around, rotate with 2 fingers, zoom in and out. Even the right menu animation is laggy.

The wait spinner rotates anti clockwise once every 8 turns, not randomly. The "Zoom into game" part is very much a replicate of the photo app behavior. Also it's very hard to tell Loren implemented his own scroll view in OpenGL, apparently

No I don't but just in case. The point is to have something secret that only you know and other people can't google or guess it (dob, first school, etc..)

I remember the authorized Apple repair shop here asked for my password as well, I asked them if I could create another account with password, they said it's fine. Just make a throwaway account and delete it afterward, no big deal.

Note that you don't have to give location data to all websites. You can allow maps.google.com and deny others.

OP might have a faulty unit. I never experience this with my Macbook Air, which has similar design of the power key as the new Macbook Pro.

If your app was well-designed, you have to handle the double status bar on iPhone anyway. This change is pretty much the same as the double status bar. So: well-designed app might not need to do anything at all.
