You like the analogy because a speed limit of 50 would result in a decrease of fatalities due to car accidents? I guess that's what he meant with "cost to society" since IIRC more fatalities result in a higher gross national product.

The category existed long before (take a look at, e.g., win ce-based tablets/pads that were released from 2000 on). They were the first though that used an OS that is truly optimized for a capacitive touch screen (those pads had resistive s

It's okay to use it for templates only (and the same is true for php if you use a sane framework). If you use erb files to quickly hack together a dynamic web-page I'd be wary though.

Since this is a prominent argument may I humbly ask, why would you want to take a library with you? You can only read one book at once. The only use-case for a portable library would be writing a scientific paper at the restaurant or coffe

How would a rss reader for people look like? Would it be able to rate/rank items accordingly to the probability that I'm going to like it? The main problem with rss feeds is the same as with many other media formats: people try to meet the

With truecrypt you can also create file containers, which you can easily backup as a whole by copying them to another disk. In some situations, this has certain advantages e.g. when upgrading your hard disk. It also provides a way to allow

I personally found it more pleasing to print web pages to pdf and copy them to the kindle via usb. But this wouldn't be exciting enough to blog about.

As somebody who doesn't blog (and never did), I wonder if there is a difference whether you want people to follow your news feed or whether you market your articles on social news sites like this one. If it is news feeds, I'd say one of the

If the disorder is the new standard, then the underlying notion of a "normal" personality would become useless. Maybe the concept was wrong right from the beginning. It's interesting though that e.g. for Freud normality rather was something
