I have the same feeling when listening to Feynman, who has a strong New York accent. He sounds like a cab driver, not a physicist! The city vs country accent has a long historical precedent. In the time of Lysistrata, the Spartan accent was

Chicken and egg problem. Gamers will come if the games are there, games will appear if the gamers come. Unless Apple makes some investment in courting developers I don't expect an influx of games. Very few developers will take the chan

There is the dictionary definition of essential services - power, water, etc. But somehow Burger King is being called an essential service as well.

"universal binary" is just a binary with multiple executables for multiple CPUs inside. Hardly unusual, it's been used for 32+64 bit before, and to package multiple flavors of arm. Rosetta 2 is emulation in once sense, but it

Most games that survived the 32 bit -> 64 bit change and run in Catalina should run under Rosetta2 with no changes. Performance? Who knows.

Applications for intel macs will still run by way of Rosetta 2, so I wouldn't say " App support [is] extremely limited."

iOS doesn't use swap, it just kill background apps when it needs to devote the whole RAM to a single app; iOS apps are designed with that in mind. MacOS doesn't get to use any of those tricks.

Yeah, sometimes you use crunch for business reasons in order to use it to shift time around - when you need to make a particular date for contractual or other reasons. E3 demo, releasing for Christmas, etc. It's when crunch is used as
